Something to do when I'm not riding

During the winter, I can only basically ride on the weekends, if then. There's just not enough light after work during the week. So that means new posts about actual rides are going to be at least a week apart until a bit later in the spring.

But that doesn't mean there won't be new and exciting content on this blog for my readers (reader?)!

In lieu of tales of my current biking adventures, I'm going to start posting some of my favorite photographs taken on rides in 2005 and 2006.

This is a picture of a field of sunflowers (duh) on the road between Statenice and Okor. This was taken in August 2006, if I remember correctly.

This is a photo of a trail in Sarka, between the Croatian restaurant and the beer garden. I took it by pressing the camera lens against the lens of my sunglasses. This was also from the summer of 2006. It was a lovely evening ride.

Great site Grant, found it today while researching a planned cycling trip in Czech in 2008. I will be watching your site with in terest in the next couple of months.

Your blogs are well written, constructed and though provoking. Safe riding friend.

Thanks, Mike. I'd love to hear more about your Czech trip once you've worked out the details.
